ABEER KHAN is an Indian Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Photographer based out of Mumbai. Her work spans narrative, documentary, brand films, and experimental video art.

Career highlights include world premieres at Künstlerinnenhaus Mousonturm, Berlin, Kochi Biennale, Ted Rogers Cinema, and Toronto Canada. a Berlin commercial fest shortlist, her films were displayed during the Conference of the Parties 27 in Egypt and COP28 Dubai.

Her photographs were widely exhibited in Spain's train stations, including Madrid's Atocha, Barcelona, and Bilbao. 

As an artist, her work explores themes of inequality, injustice, gender roles, memory, childhood, language, grief, and spaces through a nonconformist, empathetic, and introspective lens in fiction, non-fiction, and video art.

Abeer was raised in Mumbai, India.
She is a part of Bitchitra Collective, Monitors 15,
Indian Women Cinematographer Collective,   VAAICA,
BGDM and Video Consortium.
